With an efficient class leading optical system and detectors, the compact-sized IRSpirit-T and IRSpirit-L systems cover users’ demands from sensitivity to reasonable pricing. - i-Serie Plus
Since the release of i-Series systems in 2014, 10,000 units have been sold around the world. i-Series systems have been used for research and development activities, specification tests and quality control operations in a wide range of application fields, such as pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. This compact solution covers conventional to ultrafast LC analysis. Application-specific solutions are available within the product range such as the Cannabis Analyzer for potency testing of primary active components of cannabis for medical use.Now the i-Series Plus, pretreatment operations have been automated, such as the processes to dilute samples and add reagents. - EDX-7000P
The Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometers series EDX-7000P/8000P measure the energy (keV) and intensity of the generated fluorescent X-rays to identify and quantify the elements comprising a sample. This technology can be used for the non-destructive elemental analysis of solids, powders and liquids. It is widely used in a range of industries including; polymers, pharmaceuticals, food, mining, electronics and automotive. The PCEDX Navi software is designed to simplify X-ray fluorescence spectrometry for beginners, while providing the feature set and capabilities demanded by more experienced users. The straight forward user interface offers intuitive operation and provides a convenient operating environment for beginners and experts alike.
- New Nexera Mikros
The Nexera Mikros can be used to detect target components with higher sensitivity than with semimicro flowrate compatible LCMS systems, which perform measurements within a flowrate range of 100 ul/min to 500 ul/min. In addition, it features shorter analysis times and is more durable than nano flowrate compatible LCMS systems, which perform measurements within a flowrate range of several 100 nl/min to 1 ul/min. Furthermore, the Nexera Mikros improves operability, and at the same time, enables high-sensitivity analysis with smaller system capacity. This is due to the UF-Link, which enables one-touch connection and disconnection between the LCMS ionization interface and the analytical columns. In pharmacokinetics analysis of low-concentration components, and analyzes of hormones and other trace components in blood, the Shim-pack MC analytical columns and the Shim-pack MCT trap columns for micro flowrate compatible LCMS systems suppress sample adsorption and peak tailing, enabling high-sensitivity detection.
- ICPMS-2030
After conquering the Asian market in the past 2 decades with previous generations of ICPMS, the compact and performant ICPMS-2030 represents Shimadzu’s first truely global ICPMS platform. It is also the first inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer including two assistant functions for analytical method development and diagnosis of analytical results, making this technology more accessible for unexperienced users. The newly developped octopole collision cell provides highest sensitivity and lowest interferences. The use of Shimadzu’s patented environmental friendly mini-torch, a unique eco-mode, several easy maintenace features and a limited down time, results in the lowest running cost available in the market.

- AIM-9000
The AIM-9000 is more than just an infrared microscope; it is an Automatic Failure Analysis System with a unique concept allowing complete automation of all necessary steps involved in Failure Analysis and micro sample evaluation; observation, definition of measurement spots, measurement and identification. The AIM-9000 is compatible with both Shimadzu's IRAffinity-1S and IRTracer-100 FTIR Spectrophotometers. - EZ-Test SX
The EZ-SX is a table top universal tester/texture analyzer with a lower table height and a larger work space making it easier to exchange jigs and samples and to perform a wide variety of operations. Tests can be performed up to the maximum load capacity levels across the entire test speed range and a high-precision load cell guarantees accuracy to within ±0.5% of the indicted value. Enhanced usability is realised by the adjustable controller allowing for a better ergonomy by matching to the posture of the operator. The user-friendly TRAPEZIUMX software enable various evaluation types while a new power-saving function reduces power consumption by over 55% compared to previous models. EZ-test testers offer a wide range of accessoires allowing for physical testing on samples like food products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronic parts, fibers, papers, films and rubbers.
- GCMS-QP2020 NX with AOC-6000
A large-capacity differential exhaust turbomolecular pump and a high-performance flow controller ensure that the utmost in sensitivity is obtained under all conditions used for GC. This sensitivity combined with high-speed analysis capabilities helps maximize laboratory efficiency by reducing analysis times. In addition, the system can be safely operated using carrier gases other than helium, such as hydrogen or nitrogen, thereby reducing operating costs.
- AOC-6000: “The Multifunctional autosampler that dramatically improves GCMS analysis productivity”
With its capability to automatically switch between different GCMS sample injection modes (liquid, headspace, SPME, SPME Arrow, …), the AOC-6000 brings you a lot of analysis options for your samples and matrices as well as the flexibility you expect from a robotic system. - Micro-ESI 8060
Shimadzu’s Micro-ESI LCMS source has been designed for optimal sensitivity and ease of use. An X-Y adjustable stage and viewing camera allow for easy ESI spray needle adjustment. The column oven is mounted on the LCMS to minimize the volume between the exit of the column and the ESI needle.

- NexGen “Compact Analyzer Gas Chromatograph”
This compact analyzer GC provides a dual-oven multidimensional analysis function, within one instrument. This fact alone attests to the compactness of the instrument, since conventionally a function such as this required the use of two GC instruments. This compact, specialized analyzer comes with detectors designed for analytes to be targeted and includes column cartridges. Representing a new generation of GC systems, it makes possible simple, high-level separations, and can be used for on-site analyses.
- TOC-L
The TOC-L series of TOC analyzers adopts the 680°C combustion catalytic oxidation method, which was developed by Shimadzu and is now used worldwide. While providing an ultra wide range of 4 μg/L to 30,000 mg/L, these analyzers boast a detection limit of 4 μg/L through coordination with NDIR. This is the highest level of detection sensitivity available with the combustion catalytic oxidation method. In addition, the combustion catalytic oxidation method makes it possible to efficiently oxidize not only easily-decomposed, low-molecular-weight organic compounds, but also hard-to-decompose insoluble and macromolecular organic compounds.
